Rock Solid Call-In Show

Join myself and Ingrid Lee for the Rock Solid Call-in Show on 95.9 - WNPQ (The Light) every Sunday from 8:00-9:00 p.m. starting September 14th.  We will be presenting "Information for a Firm Foundation."  Each week there will be a theme along with a book of the week to purchase from Berean Christian Bookstore on 30th Street in Canton.  The themes will challenge Christians and the Church to become healthy, mature and whole disciples.

Success Tips

For the next 9 weeks I will be providing 9 tips (one a week) that will empower you to be successful in Life, Love and Business. Each tip is critical for your success and life. These tips have been gleaned from years of research on successful people. They are essential if you are going to live life abundant and filled with Joy.

TIP # 1:

DEAL WITH THE PAST: This means you must work through the negative things in your life. You must face them, work with them, heal them and then choose new beliefs and actions. Most of us are controlled by the past. We try to hide it. We ignore it. We stuff it. We blame people and circumstances. But we don’t heal from it, so we a controlled by it.

We must deal with our hurts, pain and negative experiences in our life. If we do not face our pain we repeat it in our own life and in our children’s lives.  Key # 1 is Take charge of your life by dealing with your past.

Next week: Pull the tooth

Last week’s Success tip was Dig up the Past.  In essence, it called you to build upon your strengths and heal your past hurts and wounds.  It challenged you to take an honest look at your strengths, talents, passions, gifts and hurts.  It challenged you to heal the past and build the future.

Success Tip # 2 Pull the Tooth

A dentist does all he can to save your tooth that needs repair.  He works with it to save it and restore it.  But there comes a time when the dentist looks at you and says; “It is time to pull it.  There is no more I can do.”  The same is true of situations, circumstances, relationships, business ventures, and problems.   We must know when we have done all we can and we must “LET GO.”  There is time when we must stop the insanity and take steps to be healthy.  We must be willing to let go of all negativity.  We must be willing to let go of good things so we can do the BEST thing.

I am all for doing what we can to restore health, wholeness and to work through difficult situation, but there is time when we must let go and trust God.  We must know when to pull the tooth to bring health and wholeness.
